- Alexandre Zanghellini, Ph.D. – Co-Founder & CEO, Arzeda
- Technical Advisory Council (TAC) – An elected subset of our governing board who provide scientific and technical expertise on research directions and model development. Current bylaws do not limit the size of the TAC.
- Governing Board (GB) – Any representatives from our signed member companies (unlimited seats), with each company getting a vote (limited) that is proportional to the member company’s membership tier.
- Supporters – Community members from academia or industry who support our efforts through donated expertise.
Our Academic Collaborations
- Mohammed AlQuraishi, Ph. D. – Professor at Columbia University leading the scientific development of OpenFold.
- Gabriel Rocklin, Ph.D. – Professor at Northwestern University developing methods for large-scale wet lab measurements of thermodynamic folding stability.

Subgroups
We do not currently have any subgroups, but if you are interested in leading a subgroup on any topic, please reach out to mallory.tollefson@omsf.io. Potential subgroups below.
- Antibody/antigen modeling
- Protein Design
- Generative small molecule design
- Fine-tuning on internal data
Accessing OpenFold3 (Beta Release)
Consortium members have early access to OpenFold3, our newest all-atom foundation model until our public release
What’s included in the current beta release:
- A new set of checkpoint weights (main-stage training complete; fine-tuning in progress).
- Template support for inference.
- Docker images, documentation, and development-branch code access.
To access:
- Submit your GitHub ID to mallory.tollefson@omsf.io for repository permissions.
- Use the provided Docker images and docs for setup (email mallory.tollefson@omsf.io if you have lost access)
Share feedback via our feedback form rather than GitHub issues until the public release.
Looking Ahead
Your feedback, collaboration, and engagement are what make the OpenFold Consortium thrive. We encourage you to stay active on Slack, respond to our community survey, and join in discussions that will shape the future of OpenFold.
Thank you for being part of this growing community!
